  I had an absolutely unacceptable experience at Jewel Osco and I am beyond disgusted with how I was treated. The employee working in the kitchen was blatantly disrespectful, aggressive, and completely out of line. He repeatedly spoke to me with an attitude and even cursed at me which is something no customer should ever have to deal with. When I tried to remove myself from the situation and speak to another team member, he inserted himself into the conversation and questioned why I was talking to her instead of him. That is not only unprofessional but also intimidating and completely inappropriate. It made the entire situation uncomfortable and hostile for no reason. I come to this location two to three times a week because I work nearby and after this experience I do not even feel comfortable stepping foot back in there. No one should feel disrespected when just trying to buy food. Someone with that kind of attitude should not be anywhere near customers or handling food. If he cannot speak to people with basic respect then he has no business being in the kitchen serving the public. A better place for him would be stocking shelves where there is little to no interaction with customers until he learns how to communicate properly. Management needs to take this seriously because this behavior is completely unacceptable. I will not be returning to this location.

  Jewels have good things most of the stuff you looking for in groceries they have a lot of fruit sales it just don't buy the watermelon it ain't sweet none of it it's not watermelon season try to buy watermelon on the Caesar but I drink the coconut organic milk I love it

  Store is getting carried away lately, I always walk in with my scooter, now they say I can't and tell u very rudely I mean rude as hell,I then use cart so I put my scooter in not even like that, Store people very rude,

  Love the location but you gotta worry about the employees , the security team, and even management racing you to the Pokemon machine they focus more on the machine than on customer service Today I seen a manager stand blocking the machine for what I’m assuming was there entire lunch break Jewel you need to step it with your employees and security it’s very sad

  The company I work for ordered a catering order for a Valentine’s Day party (party pack 48 pieces of fried chicken) for our clients whom are blind and the chicken was horrible. The chicken wasn’t fresh at all. You can tell old chicken when the meat isn’t chewable and by the skin. Also the pan of potato wedges wasn’t filled. The presentation of everything was terrible. We will never order from this location again. We’ll travel further to the Roosevelt and Wabash location. I don’t understand why anyone wouldn’t want to sell fresh quality food. Never again! The two stars are for the cole slaw and Hawaiian rolls. I’ve been trying to post this review since but was unable to for some reason.
