They were not tender at all,they had a good taste and flavor but they were tuff! They didn't used to be like that! I don't believe that I received the right amount of fries with my order either 😩 but the price is unbeatable! Because everyone else wants to charge you an arm and a leg for some tips! Of course I'm going back there, but I'm going to tell them that I don't want my meat to be tough, and not to hold back on my fries geez!! I was satisfied with the amount of tips they gave me and I loved the coleslaw and the fact that they actually gave me some bread without having to ask! P.S I got the wing's from next door!

I was the only person standing in line and nobody was there to help me. Another person came in and was taken care of immediately! It was as if I was invisible. I saw my food ready and sitting on the counter. I asked the young man if he could just pass it to me. He told me to wait until he finished with his customer , who came in after me. Also, there were persons soliciting in the restaurant which often make me feel unsafe. Especially in that area of town.

We had mild sauce put on everything. Sauce, tips, links were all flavorful and good! Meaty and tender tips. The crinkle fries are good too! We will continue to order from them. Sorry I don't have a picture of the food - soon though. Every time we have gotten food from them, I've been so hungry that I haven't thought about taking a pic, just digging in. LOL Highly recommend getting BBQ from here via delivery. Thanks Uncle John's!! Huge THUMBS UP!
- LCLarry CarterOct 25, 20254.0I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and serving portions. I personally knew Uncle John "Mack Sevier" since he was at Barbara Ann's motel. Then he went to 69 th and Calumet. From there he went to 47th/Vincennes. His BBQ was always awesome! His hot link was truly what it should be. Scraps of BBQ from the day before mixed with sage and other seasonings. He had a great sense of humor and I was always the first in line. He ALWAYS had a long line out the door. This spot that bears his name is very good. Keep up the good work. I noted that I was3rd in line that Sunday morning and I looked up and 8 ppl were behind me for BBQ! That says something! I wonder if Brian is still the pitmaster? He kept the flavor of Uncle John's BBQ alive. Happy trails to all!
