I recently had the pleasure of brunching at The L Station restaurant, where I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The ambiance was impeccable, and the food was equally exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, accommodating our party with a surprise.
Overall it was a positive impression I had of the establishment. It was also gratifying to observe the presence of affluent diverse individuals in the restaurant.
Thanks to all the staff that accommodated us! We will be back!

Was visiting chi town from cali & heard about this restaurant in downtown chicago. Jerk lamb chops were super yummy, Mac & cheese was super good. Yams were good but im use to mine. Service was great! Ill definitely be back
5 stars for the food, drinks, and service. My bf showed me a TikTok and I didn’t think the chicken looked good but it was amazing. Flavor like what your grandma used to cook. The jerk turkey tips were 5/5. I’m tired of restaurants in Chicago saying they have jerk this and jerk that, but it’s not. These tips were flavorful. The Mac n cheese was perfect. The greens, yams, salmon bites, & cornbread were delicious. Our waiter was a guy and he was very friendly. As others have mentioned, it is a small location and had some nagging fruit flies. But the food and service outweighs those issues. And we made a reservation so we didn’t have to wait. I will definitely return for the chicken alone!
Positive first! Bartender Jada is on point!! Very attentive and managed multiple guest with absolute EXCELLENCE!!
Things to consider when going: Very small dining area. Think Harold’s restaurant waiting area… It’s small. Food was not the best I’ve had.. lamb Mac and cheese is a hard pass. The flavors didn’t go well and I’ve tasted more flavorful Mac and cheese.
Now, here is the reason I felt compelled to review 3 stars and say anything at all. When service isn’t great, normally I just don’t go back, but service was mediocre, but what was insulting/off putting and really energetically disappointing was the owner/manager not sure of exact role, but Tony.
From the moment we sat down I didn’t feel welcomed by him. He approached my group and questioned were we seated by someone etc. The host sat us.. after that, he annoyingly returned, not to ask how the food was, because I’d gladly have told him “not great” , but to ask us to hurry up and leave because we’d paid our $150.00 bill for food that went in the trash, some good drinks though! And we paid to park… overall I will say this… o could have gotten better food, better service and free parking in Oakbrook. People don’t have to patronize your restaurant. The success of the business has outgrown the space, which is a GREAT thing. Time to move the space and welcome and not rush guests.
It was an experience I will not subject myself to having again, meaning I won’t return. I hope this review assist The L station in making some needed changes so the experience matches the hype.

No silverware, extremely small, over priced for small food portions, extra hidden fees on the tabs and too chaotic. Apparently you need reservations to get in, the food was good but not worth the price or the wait. Also a waitress purposely charged me for the entree price instead of the appetiser price, they do that to get more money.
