This has got to be one of the most consistently bad Taco Bell‘s I ever have gone to. I mean it’s Taco Bell so it’s delicious but how is it that the cheese in my bean burrito can be not melted? Fresh off the press but not even hot.

The swing-shift manager at this establishment, Karen Medina, demonstrated prejudicial treatment towards myself and colleague. At arrival, I went to you the restroom, however, Oscar, the cashier, announced to the store that the restaurant were not private. Understood, I purchased a drink and asked if the restroom needed a key to be opened. Oscar explained that the manager would need to open it. He went to Medina and told her that I needed access to the restroom. Medina did not move from the kitchen, and after 3 mins of her failing to acknowledge that I’m was waiting for her , I asked her if she was going to open the restroom and she told me I needed to wait until she’s finished in the kitchen. I explained that I needed to use the restroom and I’d rather not urinate on the floor, Medina tone raised, stating , “I have orders, can’t you see I’m making orders, can’t you wait!” I told her that I could not wait, I needed to use the restroom and she could simply open the door. Medina disregarded and continued to ignore me for another 3 mins. Oscar and Medina continued making food while making me wait to use the restroom. Finally, Medina walked over to the restroom and put in a code.
This was disappointing and upsetting because the code could’ve been provided to allow me to use the restroom and allow her to continue working. Instead, Medina was argumentative and disrespectful.
When I finally was allowed into the restroom, 2 stalls did not have toilet paper, the store was playing music with racial slurs and profanity, which was not realized until I got inside the restroom. When I finished, I went back to the register and requested a refund for the prejudice treatment received by Oscar and Karen Medina (Manager.) Medina began speaking in Spanish to Oscar regarding me already using the restroom and requesting a refund, yet when Medina was asked to make the transaction, she refused to come to the register.
I requested both their names and Medina refused to give me her name while Oscar (cashier) attempted to lie and give me a false name. Medina’s name was on the receipt.
I have never experienced such racial discrimination at any establishment and for a “manager” to behave so poorly, it’s unacceptable. Karen Medina should not be a manager of anything. I legit wouldn’t give ay stars if it was an option.
Keywords: prejudice, racial discrimination, racial slurs, profanity, prejudicial treatment, argumentative.
Attached is the music played in the store.
