This business is located right by a high school, so kindness and patience with students should be expected. A young student in front of me didn’t have enough money—she was only short by about $3. Instead of handling the situation with understanding, he abruptly snatched the food back, leaving her clearly confused and uncomfortable. I ended up covering the difference since the staff said they “couldn’t split payments.” When I stepped in to help, the same staff member turned his rudeness toward me. Ironically, once I matched his tone, he calmed down. That’s not how customer service should work.
