I am immensely disappointed in my experience at Snakes and Lattes. Beginning with the positives, the atmosphere and overall concept is really awesome! A larger group of us went for a birthday party. We had a good time and played a couple fun games. The gamekeeper guy who helped us choose the games and go over the rules was really nice and seems to love his job. Moving on to the negatives: 1. The food was fine, but just a tad overpriced 2. I have been to this place before and know that there is a $7 game pass that each person must purchase in order to play the games. However, when I received the final bill, I was not expecting there to be an additional “venue surcharge” for $18.06, which I find to be outrageous considering we are already purchasing food/drinks and the game passes. I feel duped since nobody informed of this beforehand. 3. The final bill included an automatic 20% tip, which is fine. The issue I had was with the way they calculated the tip by including the venue surcharge and nearly $9 state/local tax. This inflated the tip by way more than it should have been.

This place is great. You should go here with your friends and family. I went here with a group and we rented a downstairs room for our group of 12. 11 showed up and we played hues and clues which can have a lot of players. Anyway, the downstairs room area is kind of creepy and the bathroom area is also creepy but it's because of the lighting and the weird hallway being painted caution yellow and is confusing trying to get back up stairs. Other than that everything was good. Food was good. Service was good. There's a game master or something that knows all the rules to the games that can help you. You can choose your own music and we did. Our room was kind of futuristic outer space but with a mad max vibe diy vibe. Our group (global information network) is awesome so it really didn't matter where we went we were going to make it great. You should go here and if someone invites you to this place you should go. It's very close to the train exit so not a far walk. Food was ok. We got lots of appetizers and desserts and shared around the table. We paid our group and they took care of everything so I don't really know my individual cost. I hope these places open up in more cities.

the atmosphere is adorable and the drink menu is fun! the ordering system is online only which is not my favorite but does mean games are uninterrupted. it requires you to enter the name on your card though and thats the name they use when serving you, so not too great for trans people!!! if youre vegan though dont come hungry since their fries are fried in tallow (so odd??) and their veggie burger is $20 and comes with a side salad... both of which have dairy and one has fish 🤷 and is on a brioche so i didnt bother. foods also on the pricier side and is exactly what youd expect. they played a lot of kpop and women-sung pop which i personally liked lol

Really cute spot right off the blue line Western stop. It's got a fun atmosphere, great employees, and surprisingly solid food and drinks. I only had cheese sticks, drinks, and coffee, but others had the burgers and fries and they looked great (was told they tasted good too). They have a small selection of board games for purchase, but a solid amount for playing and a very reasonable fee for doing so. Can easily have a nunber of people here too.

This place is always packed, so they charge $7 per person just to enter and play games. Reservations are a good idea. Food and drinks are optional but you'll probably get something. It's pretty expensive. Portion sizes are kinda small. But the staff is excellent, you get the sense that they really enjoy it there and it's not just a job for them. They have games for all occasions and group sizes.
