Been here before. Vibes are cool, the main guy has always been a little pretentious but whatever, he probably sees a lot of different characters working there. Went with a party of 6, got sat in a booth, great! Ordered some food and some drinks. Was planning to play monopoly and the board was in 4 pieces, didn’t have enough play tokens for all of us. We reported it to the main guy that they might want to get a new one and he was like “meh” and didn’t care. Or even pretend to ‘customer service’ a “okay thanks”
We tried the cheaters edition and that was also a mess and unplayable.
Like this isnt even an expensive game. Just a few of our game passes paid for a new monopoly game
I am deeply considering not going back

This place was most excellent! My husband and I were looking for a chill spot to play a game outside of our living room. We were warmly greeted by the hostess, sat promptly, and given a brief summary of the "lay of the land".
It's a nominal flat fee to come and enjoy as many games as you'd like. We order pierogis which we surprisingly buttery and delicious, and a couple glasses of wine.
It's a mix of families, groups of friends and couples.
We chatted with multiple employees and the owner about the various games. We will be back for their group gaming events!

Edit: I'm going to double down on this being a ripoff. To be clear, I closed my tab out while I was still on site at like 10:09 pm or something like that. It's not like I walked out on the tab without paying and came back several days later. If this establishment relies on automatic gratuities based on a ~technicality~ to pay for "table service, food running, drink preparation, cleaning, dish washing, restocking" and so on and so forth, then it sounds like the owner isn't paying a livable wage, which is all the more reason not to go here. Finally, please note that the owner mentions explaining, recommending and teaching games when I already explicitly mentioned that was never an employee in the game library doing any of those things, even though the host and now the owner said there should be. Maybe for whatever reason they were having a busy night, but regardless my experience did not match what has been advertised. So, again, what was I tipping for?
They don't tell you this when you're there, but if you don't close your tab out before they close they automatically add a 20% tip on your order. What am I tipping 20% for? Considering you're tipping 20% for a master librarian was never actually there when you went to look for games and a bar tender that doesn't put in or close the order but rather opens a beer or shakes together a mixer and a spirit, this place is a gigantic ripoff. And if you're wondering if this 20% policy is on their website, note that there are two different FAQs on their website and it's only in one of them.

Don’t go there - they are scamming people with hidden extra charges
I decided to celebrate my birthday there and it was a huge mistake. I paid for the room and then found out that each guest was charged an extra “venue surcharge”. I was charged an extra for the cake and no one told me about it, and they didn’t let me light two small candles, framing it as a “fire hazard”. The manager was offputing
My guests and I felt completely abandoned in the room, having us to clean up the dishes to make the space for the games.
0 stars - my birthday was completely ruined. Never again

I had a great time at Snakes and Lattes with a few friends. We were newer to games, so it was great to try a couple different options. Our game expert, Andrew, was very friendly and a gracious host. He did really well at reading the vibe of the group and talking with us about our gaming goals. He also gave us a whole tour of the game room so we could go explore ourselves as well. He recommended a fun party game to start us off to get our feet wet, then a card game per our request, and finally a super fun “racing” game that required a little bit more strategy. It was a great balance and he was very in tuned to our needs, careful to not overwhelm us, but recognizing we were ready for a bit more of a challenge. I can’t wait to come back, maybe to try the coffee next time, and will be trying many more of their amazing game selection! Shout out to Andrew for helping us have an amazing experience.
