  The owner was so nice and professional. He came inside with us and asked us. How did we like our food he made sure, the food was hot fresh and finger looking good. The food not only looked good. It taste good definitely cooks from the heart. Very nice place good music, nice atmosphere very clean restaurant. Very friendly customers and employees. Got a very southern atmosphere. You think you’re in the south really nice definitely will be coming back. That was my first visit. I was highly impressed. Keep up the good work you guys rock.

  This was my first time visiting and I have to say I was a bit disappointed. First off I ordered a Smoked Brisket Cheeseburger, collard greens and a can of pop ($25.49). We asked for ketchup (which they don't have on the table where you get the sauces and it took a good ten minutes to get some). The burger was good and juicy, but tasted like a cheeseburger not Smoked Brisket (I thought it was going to be Smoked Brisket on a bun with cheese. It looked more like hamburger and maybe they put Smoked Brisket in the meat, but I didn't taste it. The collard greens were delicious. I may go back, but only because they seem as if they just opened recently and need to get the kinks out. I definitely won't get the cheeseburger again. There looks to be outside space for when the weather is nicer.

  I had been hearing all the ranting and raving about this place so I decided to try them out. Im glad I did! The line for this place was really long with a constant flow of people coming in. I LOVED seeing that. Parking wasn’t too bad, I did have to circle the block once to find a park due to the restaurant being on a busy street in a residential area. Again, the food was really good! Rib tips-9/10 very flavorful 👍🏾 Brisket sandwich-10/10 there was a lot of fat but not enough meat. The sandwich was very good though Mac & cheese-9/10 cheesy with a good flavor 👍🏾 Greens-7/10 has a smoked taste Baked beans-9/10 what can I say, I LOVE sweet baked beans 💯 Overall, I will be going back again!

  2/14/26 went to support this Black owned spot the employees were very nice and professional. The restaurant itself is small and CLEAN. This is a CASHLESS place. They have four different bbq sauces you can self serve yourself with which was great along with to go trays and bags which is also nice so your not waiting on a server to bring one back. NOW the food…. I had the brisket it was very tender and some of it was a little dry but the flavor was amazing, the peach glazed wings were ok the skin was a little tough, my husband really liked the sweet potato corn bread. The temperature of the food was warm not hot enough for me except the fries which were piping hot. I will definitely give them another shot. Their bbq sauces are really good and I loved the customer service and attention from the employees.

  So, I found out about this BbQ joint on the news. Was geeked to give it a try. Attempted to call first, to see if reservations were needed. Called for months; no one ever answered the phone. Fast forward...decided to take a chance and just walk in for Valentine's weekend. Not too busy when we arrived. Line moved quickly. Got ready to pay for our orders in cash. Was informed that the only payment method accepted was by credit card. Had to send my guy home to get credit card. This info should be INCLUDED ON WEBSITE. Or have someone answer phones to field questions for 1st time patrons. Place was small; basic with no bells and whistles. To their credit, the food was excellent! The ribs were great, as well as the Mac and cheese. Staff friendly, customer service very good. Plan to return and recommend.
