Service was just okay. The concierge didn’t make eye contact, which set the tone for the rest of the visit. The food took a long time to come out, and honestly wasn’t worth the wait. The value felt off too… it tasted like a $150 meal, but the bill came out to $500. Overall, disappointed. I’d rather go to a good BYOB sushi spot next time.

Took my fiancée for her birthday to Nobu first time for her as much as mine. From entrance to the sit down and their welcoming Japanese phrase which I can’t remember for the life of me, was amazing! Jen our server for the night set us up nicely with a custom menu that I paid 200$ per person. The experience was unforgettable from the cold starters, hot, main, and dessert. It was all worth every penny! I would come back just for a regular date night!

Have been watching Chef Nobu for a while, first time dining at his restaurant. We were a group of 4 on Saturday night.
Whole experience was very rushed, we really didn’t feel like eating at a fine dining spending quite a penny.

Expen$ive, but amazing! Each dish had my taste buds craving more. The staff worked as a team to make our experience great. Everyone was delightful.
P.s. don't pass on the yuzu spicy drink! It wasn't too sweet and hit many notes - paired well.

The Nobu Chicago buffet is a classy experience with great service, a beautiful atmosphere, and top-notch food and drinks. But for $75, the food variety is way too limited. You’d expect a wider spread, especially compared to big buffets like Bacchanal in Vegas. It’s not just the lack of sashimi at weekend brunch that stands out, but the absence of more meat, seafood, and veggie options in general. For the price, the selection feels too restricted to really justify the cost if you’re looking for variety.
