  I was here before and had wonderful service but I got here today and I would say, the service could be better. Beware of the pricing and mandatory 20% gratuity. This restaurant doesn’t inform you of this before hand.

  I really wanted to enjoy my experience at Mastro’s, especially because it was my boyfriend’s birthday. We had a reservation, a special menu planned, and were genuinely excited to celebrate. Instead, we ended up feeling embarrassed and disappointed. My party and I were turned away because I had on joggers, which I was told didn’t meet the dress code. I would’ve accepted that, but moments later I watched someone from a private event walk out wearing bright orange joggers and Ugg boots. When I asked about it, I was told private parties don’t have to follow the dress code. It honestly felt unfair. I just wish the expectations were the same for everyone, or at least clearly explained from the start. Not all guests check the website, so it would help if the hostess mentioned the dress code when reservations are made or when guests arrive. This situation completely threw off our evening and the birthday plans we had prepared. I just hope the communication and consistency can be improved for future guests.

  Consistent food, service and value. What a fantastic and long running establishment. The live music is amazing and the personalization for birthdays is very special. Can recommend more.

  A party of 5 went to Maestro’s to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Of course I had made reservations and when we arrived our table was not ready. We opted to go to the bar while we waited for our table. We were at the bar for about 15-20 minutes before we were told our table was ready. I called ahead and mentioned I wanted custom menus in celebration of my sister’s birthday. As we were seated the server gave us standard menus. When I asked about the custom menus he did they were too busy to print them out. We proceeded to look at the menus and place our order for appetizers. The server was not very attentive and we would often have to look for him. To be fair it was Sweetest Day and it seemed pretty busy. Our appetizers arrived and we needed small plates. We asked about the plates and it took him a while to get them. We then decided to get the order in for our entrees. The food was good but definitely not for the price. My steak had no flavor other than the truffle butter I paid extra for, the lobster Mac n’ cheese was good but the vegetables we ordered were flavorless. It’s a beautiful restaurant but extremely overrated and overpriced. A manager was kind enough to print us out menus because I expressed my dissatisfaction with the servers excuse about being too busy to accommodate my request. They should have mentioned this when I called and asked about it, that due to the “holiday” they were not doing custom menus. A small request but made all the difference to my sister. They brought out a slice of cake complimentary for my sister’s birthday which was a nice touch. Overall, my sister had a great time but definitely feel there were other places we could have gone with better service and more flavorful food for the $800 we spent.

  I had the absolute pleasure of celebrating my son’s birthday at this location, and everything exceeded expectations. The service was exceptional, and the food was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. I also discovered what I can only describe as the perfect dessert — the butter cake truly lives up to the hype! A must-try. A huge thank you to the amazing team, and a special shoutout to our server, Blake — you were outstanding and made our celebration extra special! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
