It’s alright but if you’ve been to any other steakhouse they pretty much beat them out. Good wine options, don’t really what you pay for food wise though. Feels like the workers try to hard to be something they’re not in life. Don’t really get the “hype” surrounding this place my hotel’s restaurant had better.

The service in this place is horrible, the food is so expensive and doesn’t even include any side order. Means you’ll have to pay separately for anything you like to to add to your order. The servers will not help you selecting the food and worse they made me felt like if I don’t belong there.

Oh man the food is delicious! The waiter was top notch, he anticipated everything we needed and was a great story teller. The only thing I disliked was the strong smell of marijuana in the waiting area, I get it, it’s legal and all but that doesn’t mean I want to smell it. Fully aware that’s out of Mastros control but it did sour the mood just a touch.

This has definitely gone into the book of “best experiences ever!” Our server Tabby was absolutely AMAZING! Seriously one of the best!!! She was so informative, helpful, and welcoming and deserves everything good that’s coming to her. I’ll come back just for her services alone! You definitely get what you pay for and more! The food was exactly how I expected it to be! I honestly think that this is the first restaurant that has truly ever satisfied my palette the way it did. I found myself a bit tipsy after only one(tasty and strong) drink. My partner enjoyed his food and drink and had 0 complaints!(That means a lot coming from picky ol’ him!) When booking our reservations, I included in the comments section “celebrating Rashaan and Tashi’s birthday” and to our surprise, they had our names printed on the menu and complimentary desserts after dinner. That was a small gesture that meant so much to us. So thank you to EVERYONE that made this night beautiful and unforgettable for us, no one went unnoticed!❤️
Side note: valet parking was available for $15 but we parked on the side of the restaurant and paid $9.50 for two hours at the box.
Ok, now let me go and hit the lottery so that I can experience this forever because I don’t want to go back😩
Enjoy!!!!

I truly can’t believe my experience tonight at Mastros. My wife and I booked an 8:30 dinner rez to celebrate our anniversary. We arrived at about 8:20 to check in. The waiting area was packed but such is to be expected on a Saturday night. We weren’t informed of any delays at check in so assumed we’d get called up closer to our reservation time. Unfortunately, we waited 30 minutes past the time of reservation with no communication from the trip of hostesses regarding the delay or a potentially updated seating time.
Again, the lobby was packed and I can understand how they would have been frazzled, but communication is a big part or customer service/management. We weren’t informed finally called to be seated a few minutes after 9 and instead of being taken to the dining room, we weren’t informed finally seated in the bar area directly next to the singers at the piano.
We regularly frequent Mastros in Chicago and in other cities and while it’s nice to drop in and sit at the bar from time to time-taking the time to make a reservation for our anniversary should never have resulted in being seated anywhere other than the dining room. There was an active basketball game on and waitresses rushing around just trying to manage the overflow. The space felt NOTHING like any experience we’ve ever had in such a restaurant. I can’t imagine dropping $500+ on our anniversary dinner in a bar where people are yelling at the game and a singer is belting away at the piano 1 foot away.
I have no clue what would have created such an issue tonight but I do know we definitely won’t be back to the Chicago location anytime soon. We gave up our table and made our way to another restaurant.
