Was really excited to have a Jimmy John's in the neighborhood as their sandwiches are really good. At the beginning they really did an effort to provide good food and service. But now, sadly they seem to changed their mode of operations. I've thought of writing this review for a while after getting their sandwiches for a few times. I always get the beach club, which is advertised to have avocado or guac as the selling point (see Jimmy John's advertising), well all the times I've gotten it they barely add any (see picture). Granted they do add a little smear somewhere in the bread but nothing as advertised. I don't know what is going on, but this type of business practice doesn't go well, hopefully they go back to how they started at opening of the restaurant as I'm sure the neighborhood wants to see them succeed.

Worst service and poor quality. Do yourself and the neighborhood a favor and take your business to the halsted location just a bit further away. Been here twice both times ignored by staff for 10+ minutes despite placing a pickup order ahead of time. Manager was supposedly working right in front of the line forming at the pickup counter and didn’t think to start asking names and getting customers out of the door. People behind me got fed up moved to register to get service and get pickups. I don’t understand why three staff members find it too difficult to ask names and hand bags literally behind them and ready to go. Instead they move at a pace akin to being on a permanent lunch break and fail to perform the most basic common courtesies like acknowledging people waiting or saying literally anything to people staring at them.
