The older woman at the desk told me she had to swap my gift card and went to her office. The gift card was folded, but I was in a hurry. I purchased it and left. WELL the gift card was tampered with and the numbers scratched. This is obviously an inside scam which is appalling. I called the fraud team and corporate, but thought I would put them on blast here and social media to ensure others are aware of the scam Jewel Osco employees are running. I don’t care about losing a few bucks, but do care about shopping and supporting a store that hires thieves. DO NOT PURCHASE GIFT CARDS FROM THIS STORE.
