Whoa dude. What should've been a 5-minute visit turned into an overall experience taking over an hour's worth of time across two days. Went here last night to pick up groceries. Due to some things beyond my control, I was late (8pm instead of 6pm), and that's my bad. I own that. But I got there, checked in, and their system told me someone would be out shortly. Cool. 20 minutes go by, I go inside, ask a manager for an update, and he and another manager tell me "curbside order staff already left". I asked if anyone else could grab my cart and I'll take it outside, and the other manager says "no, it's locked up, we can't access it, you have to come back tomorrow". I find it hard to believe two managers are unable to retrieve a cart full of groceries I already paid for from wherever it's being kept. Maybe that's how Jewel does things now? So...over an hour of time wasted. Sick. Again, my bad for being late, but their system indicated everything was cool when I checked in and nobody bothered to contact me and tell me otherwise. Cut to today. I pull up around 5:30 , see someone else's order being delivered, I check in online. Again it says someone will be out soon. 10 min goes by, I go inside to see if there's an issue. The woman from yesterday asks for my info and says "From last night?" and I said yep. She walks away for several minutes before coming back and, with an annoyed tone of voice, asks me if I want the cart brought out to my car, and says the groceries are not in bags. I reply "Well if there's no bags and it's curbside pickup, I want them brought out to the car" Cue antagonistic, gaslighting behavior; she responds with a harsh, escalating tone, "Sir, you don't need to have an attitude with me" to which I respond "...I don't." and she continues to insist I do while talking over me. Dude, I'm just trying to pick up groceries and y'all have turned it into a two-day ordeal at this point. I'm not here to argue with you. She walks away for another several minutes, taking her time chatting with employees on the way, and finally returns with my cart, leaves it in front of me and says "Here you go" in a mocking tone. Why bother asking if I want the cart brought out if you're not going to do it?... What's the point of curbside pick-up? From my first interaction with her, this manager was flat-out rude; she never introduced herself, never tried to problem solve, never showed even a hint of professionalism or kindness. Every interaction I had with her was unpleasant. It's a shame - I worked for Jewel years back, I thought they had higher standards than this.

I had recently cut myself at work and asked the staff if they had any bandaids I could use since I didn’t want to buy a new box I didn’t need. The staff were very kind and actually opened a box for me to use right there, I am very thankful. Everyone is so nice

Every time I go to this Jewel-Osco, it is amazing how filthy the establishment is. The entire produce section reeks of apple cider vinegar from the rotten fruit and numerous times have I walked past the tables and TONS of fruit flies Fly out. avocados have mold all over the outside if it’s not mold, it’s a heavy duty chemical. Besides that, is a super scary noise that comes from the intercom that scares the crap out of its guests. We are spending tons of money on produce for these disgusting standards. I have to eat most of my produce day of otherwise it turns fuzzy the next day. It’s a shame. even their bakery has dry cupcakes.

The big brained security guard honked at me because I was sitting in my car near the entrance, out of the way, while my partner grabbed one item from the store — a very normal thing to do! What is your problem? Leave me alone!!
