The store aisles are organized and clearly labeled. Staff was welcoming and available if I had any questions or need help during my visit. I highly recommend this store if you live in Ravenswood neighborhood.

I believe that the neighborhood in the community would be better served if the old building will tear it down and they built up a affordable housing unit that could also house the people that work at the jewel if they so desired.... They could put the jewel at the base and they could also increase the parking availability within the neighborhood thereby creating some more capital for the building itself. But alderman Martin's office is right across the street I'm sure he's thought of something like this right I'm sure he's gotten together with the people at jewel and talked about options for affordable housing I'm sure that somebody probably squashed the idea because I imagine that other people in the neighborhood would agree that this is a great location for affordable housing the jewel and additional parking it could be a nice high-rise.

Well I had a weird experience at the jewel today. So I got the $5.99 cheap chicken Monday deal. I paid with my card and it right approved. I walked into my car and started to wanna chow down on the chicken but I put it back into the bag. I was in my car getting ready to take off when I noticed that the kid was standing by my car and he worked there... So I rolled down my window to ask him what he needed and he said that I didn't pay for the chicken.... Now as I told you my card read as it was approved but okay okay so I'm looking for my receipt but I can't find it.... I mean the kid came all the way out there of course he's got to be right I take his word for it and I give him a bag but the chicken.... All in all I'm sitting here thinking about it because well I'm hungry and I'd already touched the chicken so they have to throw it away and you know there's such a waste of food in our culture nowadays anyway and they just cut off the snap benefits and the food pantry is.... Overburdened.... But you will find it necessary to send the kid out there running after a patron and cheap chicken Monday for a bag of $5.99 chicken that the patron thought they had paid for but apparently did not and could not prove they had or had not cost find the receipt somehow that got this place must have left it in the south checkout..... But really jewel this is the way you treat your people the one that come to your store all of the time and leave hundreds of dollars not that I want anything for free really I don't and I would have felt bad taking the chicken knowing that I hadn't paid for if I were aware of it so of course I'm going to give it back to you but really jul I'm so ashamed of you.... I'm so very very ashamed of you because we're talking about $5.99 chicken that you had to throw away I mean I hope you threw it away cause you don't know.... My health conditions... Anyway you wouldn't just put that back into the cage and you wouldn't give it to the people that work at your jewel would you I hope you're not..... But already displayed how putty and trifling you really are that I'm not inspired to come back to your store really not again I'd rather drive to the one That's on Western Avenue Or Ashland Avenue Because Maybe I'll Just... Maybe I'll just go to Mariano or maybe I'll just go over to the whole food but really how much filling to waste food when people are hungry.

What are we doing dude? This place used to be fine, but last night I encountered a total of two employees in the store, and both of them were mumbling to themselves in tongues, no earbuds in or anything, and wouldn’t make eye contact or even address my presence.

There's no way they have a store manager. All around it's just draining trying to shop here. Give your deli some more help too.
