The "fresh" pasta fridge was filled with expired goods, which made the fact that it was all comically expensive even funnier. I tried asking two different employees where the dry pasta was a neither of them knew. When I went check out all the bags were missing and the woman running the self checkout had us "pre-pay" for the bags before we began checking out, so I had to estimate how many bags I needed and then she manually entered them into the self checkout, and handed me a stack of folded grocery bags. On top of all that, somehow my price total of just a few items was about the same as what I usually spend for a cart full of groceries at Aldi. Also not a big deal, but I bought a 4 pack of bakery brownies for $8 and they were the most dry brownies I ever had. I have a huge sweet tooth and hate wasting food, but even I won't be finishing them. Kinda a shame because I live very close, but I don't think I'll be coming back here. If I'm gonna spend a fortune on groceries I might as well go to Mariannos where the shopping experience is much better.
- SBShony Baby5 days ago1.0Good afternoon I have filed several complaints on the quality and delivery service from Jewels today I had a delivery order to my job and the items were damage (Please see the attached pictures ) I spoke to Joey he works in the drive up and go he called at 1:59 pm today because he received the inquiry about my damage order and insured me that my refund of 147.00 would be issued. I called and spoke to the Manager Carolina she disregarded me transferred me twice while I was speaking to her very rude and inconsiderate. Then Carolina switched me to Sean in drive up and go he was very rude and dismissive and stated if you are telling the truth they will issue you a refund. Are you serious I truly understand that there are a lot of fraudulent people out here I am at work I don't have time to lie! I place a delivery order my order was damage busted pages, smashed fruit, molded cauliflower. The entire staff except Joey and Doug who paged Joey multiple times while I am on hold at this very moment at 3:35pm cst was very concerned that I was getting the run arounds and that my food was severely damage. You all need to do something about this Money paid to business:

That said, this is a store where you're gonna have to check the expiration date on perishables and give produce a freshness check before buying -- I can't even count the number of times I've trusted fruit here that turned out to be moldy.

Small aisle so try to avoid typically busy shopping days. Saturday must be stocking day. Aisles full of pallets of merchandise. Everyone was polite regardless of the obstacle course that needed to be navigated.
