The cashier Anita gave me dirty face and was rude when I proceed to check out I showed her my checkout barcode and then she rudely told me wait your turn, then I answered excuse me this is my stuff and she proceed to insult the fiance I was with and said well there just standing there. I answer excuse you but you didn't even say your total is... card ...or cash.. and the sad part is she was just having full blown conversation with the person in front of me that check out before me.i dont know if it was my completion of my skin but everyone should be treated fairly because your suppose to be friendly face to the company. I will not shop at this location again.
- MMMirandaDec 28, 20251.0Had an extemely disturbing experience on 12/26 with Dawn K. Waited in line at the deli and my number was skipped. No biggie, I politely informed her of this. Immediately she began yelling at me in front of a crowd of customers. The customers were all so confused, a few even made comments about her being inappropriate and left the deli. I requested a bucket of chicken tenders, which I reiterated multiple times to her and she could not seem to grasp. As she was filling the bucket, she told her co-worker, “if she needs anything else, you’re going to have to serve her because I’ll lose my job”. Immediately I went to customer service desk and requested a manager who stated I would need to fill out a written statement. As I was doing so, my sister stayed behind at the deli to wait for our order. She stated dawn continued to make comments and accused us of going into Jewel all the time to “cause problems”. I am a grown women with a very busy life. I don’t have the time nor desire to come into Jewel to create drama. She must have confused us with someone else. The worst part: as I was filling out my written statement, dawn approached us at the customer service desk crying and screaming, apologizing and in the same breath accusing us of laughing at her. It was so bad an employee had to direct her multiple times to walk away and go to the break room (which we could still hear her crying and screaming from). Causing a scene and customers staring at us, this experience was not only highly uncomfortable, but extemely unacceptable and unnecessary. Per some employees, there has been ongoing issues with this employee involving customers. Jewel needs to take action before this escalates into something more serious.
