A secret shopper was hovering around me as I shopped. I’m a person of color and was wearing dark clothes and a heavy coat— but it’s also November and not a crime to wear black. As I was looking for a specific soap the man was standing uncomfortably close to me and gazing at items but not picking up anything. He then left for literally 15 seconds, came back, and continued to stand close for another 3 minutes or so. When I found the soap I came to BUY I turned around just to be sure I wasn’t being crazy and he was staring at me trying to see what area of the store I was going to next. I understand if you have frequent shoplifters but profiling people based on their race and the way they’re dressed instead of proof of theft is entirely unacceptable and scares away paying customers. After reading the reviews, I can see this is a common occurrence. This is the last time I’ll be buying items from this store. Extremely off-putting experience.

I love their deals discounts starting every Wednesday. My family ordered our Thanksgiving precooked turkey dinner from Jewel Osco every year. Their urgent care clinic is also very convenient. I Love and purchased their tiny roses pots for birthday gift from the flowers section. The price is good, no one's can beat it!
