Me and my family went to this location today to try their pizza, when we arrived we sat in a table and realized they were ignoring us, so we went to ask if someone could serve us, there was a lady very rude that said we had to go back to the front and waited to be seated , mind you we were already sitting and with a baby. Then another lady came she was nice and polite and take us to the right room of the restaurant, we noticed that in that room they will sit only Hispanic or other nationalities. When we were leaving we saw from the other side of the restaurant they will sit only American people. Does anyone else have noticed this?

While staying one night in Chicago to catch the Amtrak Empire Builder to Seattle a friend of my daughter invited us to dinner to get an authentic Chicago deep dish pizza. Giordano's is the place to go she said and she was correct. We got medium Special and we loved it. By the time we left, we were stuffed; as we also ordered the multi-item appetizer (containing chicken nuggets, cheesy garlic bread, tomato bruschetta, and mozzarella triangles). I am so glad we tried it and next time I am in Chicago I will head to Giordano's. Even their service was great!

I stopped by Giordano’s in downtown Chicago and had the famous Chicago deep dish pizza — and it was absolutely excellente! The crust was perfectly golden and buttery, the cheese was rich and gooey, and the sauce had that classic, flavorful Chicago taste that makes every bite worth it. The restaurant had a warm, welcoming vibe and the staff were friendly and attentive. Even though the deep dish takes a little time to bake, it was definitely worth the wait. Everything came out fresh, hot, and perfectly made. If you’re visiting Chicago, Giordano’s is a must-try for the real deep-dish experience. Delicious food, great service, and an authentic Chicago feel — I can’t recommend it enough!

Upon arriving at this giordano's we were sat immediately but we were left sitting there for a long while before a server approached us. At a restaurant where the wait to have a pizza made is 30 or an hour depending on type delaying taking an order means an even longer wait. We ordering immediately and again we waiting 10 minutes for our drinks, 15 for our appetizer and another 20 minutes before we were asked if we wanted more drinks. If the restaurant was busy it would be one thing but it was mostly empty. We asked about happy hour menu as we saw one in the window. We were told there wasn't one that day but that there server told us there was and as such we bought another pitcher of beer. Later the manager informed us they're wasn't a happy hour deal but did give us a discount because of their mistake, but no one addressed the giant sign in the window which does say in the smallest print bar area only. Anyway this location seems to exist for tourists while the pizza was fine or wasn't good for Chicago.

On 11/8/2025 right before 5pm I called to confirm our 6pm reservation and to put our pizza order in since it takes an hour to cook, as per the restaurant recommendation via a text I received from them. After we are seated, I let the server know about our order that was called in. She said let me go check on it and put the drinks in. We sit there for an hour and our pizza never comes. Our server never came to check on us.. She passed us by several times, so finally I flag her down and ask her about the pizza, and she goes to check. Next, the manager comes over explaining what happened: Apparently someone put my order in to go. He tried to say it was only in the box for 5 min but from the condition and temperature of the pizza, I knew it was sitting there for at least an hour. They did give us a discount but I feel the entire meal should have been comped. Had we known we’d be sitting there an hour, we would have ordered an appetizer.
