If you're looking for a London Pub feel while in downtown Chicago, this is the place to go. They have quite a few European beers on tap and some pub food favorites. It can get pretty busy for lunch and dinner rushes, so a reservation is encouraged during those times, otherwise you are able to wait at the bar for an availability. The pot pies are delicious, all four of them, which they offer as a flight (small portions of each to try) and they pair nicely with a Smithwick's red ale on tap.

My wife and I just got home from eating here. We really enjoyed it. My wife had chicken strips, pretty average, but good none the less. The "Chips" were better than average. I had the Shepherd's Pie and it was GREAT! The problem is that it was paired with an odd, not so good, salad; it was like trying to put vegan and carnivore on the same plate. It would have been better if they had made the Shepherd's Pie bigger and left the salad for someone that values that type of filler. Price was acceptable at $53 for the two of us and no alcohol.

I really like this old mainstay of many cities. It feels homey and cozy. I like the not-vaulted ceiling height, and I think it had carpeting. Great waiter at this location, forget his name. Warm, friendly, accommodating. The acoustics are loud, but it was packed with people. Guess there's not much you can do about being so popular! Best side salad I have had in a lonnng time. Absolutely loved it.

Very popular. Typical bar drinks nothing fancy but good. I am from England and had the fish and chips and they were very good. The chips were delicious. Friends also had the pie flight which they really enjoyed. Favourites were the shepherds pie and the potato leek pie. Would recommend a reservation as it was busy but we were lucky enough to get a seat at the bar.
