  I just came from there, it's sad that the food is so amazing and the staff attitude and customer service is so horrible. I often purchase from there not just for me but my family and sometimes I bring donuts for my staff. This morning the young lady was so horrible at basic customer service skills I chose to spend my money else where this morning. I spoke to her 3 times" Ho Hood morning, how are you ? Then again a min later. And then someone else comes in she says " hey I got your donuts right here. He said am I good . She says yes he leaves. I then ask again because I am the only person in there and said "good morning do you have any apple fritters left and she is standing right there in front of me does not look up does not say anything does not respond. Does not do anything so Said hi good morning do you have any apple fritters left now she looks she still looking down. She ain't saying that ain't doing nothing and so then I asked I waved at her and Good morning do you have any apple? Fritters left doing something I'm busy oh I'm so I'm just I'm counting money. Well mama I can't see what your hands are doing , And then I didn't realize that counting money didn't allow for you to say hold on one second sir I'll be with you or good morning. If you can give me just one second or I'm sorry I'm I'm counting some money right now. I might be with you in a moment many of things she could've said her eyes just looked up and acknowledged me and said hey. OK give me two seconds I'm I'm in the middle of something anything Wrong because I'm asking her a question this is your job. Do we feel like you're paid to greet people and ring them up? It's not that complicated. It's not that hard and so if you can't basically say hello, how are you? What can I get for you then you probably shouldn't be in the service industry and I'm certainly not gonna continue to spend my money there if people with attitudes are not gonna acknowledge you when you come to the business and I can speak and so as a as a person who owns his own business, I'm gonna say for whoever this is that owns this business. You probably need to do some new development or training for your staff and/or you need to get some new ones one or the other or are you gonna continue to lose customer.

  Dat Donut is a Chicago institution. The best donuts on the planet. I have to limit myself to two because I could easily tank a half dozen.

  Customer Service is TRASH! I ordered a half dozen of donuts, and she put them all in a bag with different flavors! Lol I would think they would come in a box, even Jewel gives you a box. Then she was irritated when I asked if she could put them in a box as if they were her donuts, then was charged extra for the box! We have to work on this in our community 😂

  Placed an order for 12 dozen doughnuts and 18 apple fritters for an office event. Unfortunately just about every apple fritter received complaints of not having any apples.
