While my burrito was sitting on the counter, a bearded employee who was cleaning touched my burrito with his bare hands. At that point, I could only hope his hands were clean, which is not something a customer should ever have to question. After that, once the burrito was finished, the employees continued rummaging around and doing miscellaneous tasks while I stood there ready to pay. I simply wanted to complete my purchase and leave, but the lack of urgency and professionalism was frustrating. The overall experience made me feel poorly treated, and I left feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. I ultimately walked out without my order. This visit raised serious concerns about food safety and customer service, and it also left me questioning whether I was treated differently. I will not be returning to this Chipotle.
