The workers said the lobby closes at 9 and the restaurant closes at 10 and they kicked me out. Right at 9pm they started putting chairs up so you couldn’t sit down. Really bizarre. I told the guy with the dreads that didn’t sound right. He told me aggressively to wash the tables then. Very disappointing.

When I pointed this out, the cashier brushed it off saying, “That’s just how it works.” Really? That’s how it works to overcharge a customer? I’ve been a loyal Chipotle fan for years, but this felt like being dismissed and cheated over something so basic. To make things worse, customer service sent a copy-and-paste apology and a coupon that only works if I spend more money within 30 days. So not only did I get charged extra, but now I have to pay again to “get my money back”? That’s just insulting. I’ve always loved Chipotle’s food, but this experience left a really bad taste — not from the food, but from how little they seemed to care about doing the right thing.
