The food was ok! The paella de costilla was horrible, it look and tasted burned. The other food was ok. It was a group of 4 people, we all had different dishes, but we all agreed that the food was just ok.

My husband and I were visiting from Cincinnati and lucky to be staying during Chicago Restaurant Week. We both looked at the menu ahead of time and knew we wanted to try their set menu and it did not disappoint. We loved everything about Boqueria! Our waitress was well-versed on the menu options, the cocktails were balanced and amazingly tasty (shishito pepper margarita was chef's kiss), the tapas were fresh with great flavors, and the ambience was cozy and fun with the Spanish ingredients. Thank you for a great date night evening!

We visited Saturday during Restaurant Week after booking through OpenTable based on the advertised specials, only to be told upon arrival that they were not available on weekends. We were also informed that lunch is not offered on weekends, which was disappointing and was not stated on the website.
After leaving, we noticed there was an all-day weekend happy hour advertised online that was never mentioned to us, and items we ordered from that menu were charged at full price. We also waited over 20 minutes to be greeted despite the restaurant being very slow. Overall, the lack of communication and service made for a super disappointing experience.
