The ceiling covered in glowing red lanterns creates such a cool, immersive vibe that immediately pulls you in (it’s definitely a spot you’ll want to photograph). We came for weekday happy hour which runs until 6:30 p.m. and that alone makes this place worth visiting. Happy hour sushi in River North is rare, so being able to try a variety of rolls at a great price was a huge win. We ordered a bunch of sushi, including some crispy rolls, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I also loved the refreshing touch of cucumber slices in the water. Small detail, but it elevates the whole experience. The staff was friendly, the ambiance was fun without being too loud, and overall it’s a great place for a casual dinner, date night, or a group hang — especially if you love a spot with a strong aesthetic. I’d definitely return to try more rolls next time!
