Excellent food and service! Chef came out and talked to us about his experience in the industry and you can tell he really cares about every meal that they make!

I’m giving this 5 stars only because of the service of Matt! He was INCREDIBLE & deserves more recognition.
Cons: food was ok/nothing to brag about. bartender with the white hair was so rude for no reason…

My friend and I came here for dinner on Friday night and were able grab a table without a resso (plenty of options actually). Our food and drinks arrived quickly. The drinks are fruity and delicious, I enjoyed the creative options on the drink menu. Foodwise was flavorful and memorable with the shrimp fried rice (has a kick, large portion, would get it again), butter chicken croquet (addictive makhani sauce balancing the crispy croquet). We also tried the kebab sampler which gave a bite of different kebab options. It was quite filling and on the dryer side, wishing there’s an accompanying sauce like a garlic/habanero aioli. Overall a good spot, will come back to check out their HH too!

Desi vegan writing this review!
For Vegans: Melissa took great care of us and was extremely knowledgeable about allergens and vegan options. It’s so nice when staff are helpful, and she went above and beyond.
We had the cauliflower 65 and dosa. The cauliflower was great! For vegans, I suggest doing a side of the roasted red pepper chutney (Melissa’s suggestion) instead of aioli.
The dosa was great! I loved the chutneys and the sambar was quite good. I don’t like regular sambas but I really enjoyed this one. It was pretty standard besides the chutney and sambar though, so if you prefer getting something else, it might be better to do that!
I got too full before I could try the eggplant but it looked amazing. I’ll come back to try it!
I think this would be a great place for vegans, people with allergies, and non vegans, especially in large groups. It’s so nice that the menu is clearly labeled. I’ll come back with a group of friends!

Disappointing Experience — Would Not Recommend
I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience left me no choice. I waited nearly 20 minutes before a server even acknowledged my presence. I ordered a hot coffee, but was served a cold one — which had to be reheated. Things only went downhill from there.
The main course arrived without the naan I had clearly ordered. When I asked, the server casually said they “may have missed it.” No apology, no urgency. It took another 20 minutes for the bread to arrive, and when it finally did, it was undercooked. By then, the paneer makhni had gone cold.
The staff seemed inexperienced and indifferent — more like unsupervised school kids than trained professionals. No one was available to check in or respond, and the overall service felt careless and unwelcoming.
I was visiting Chicago for a conference and had hoped for a decent meal. Instead, I ended up packing the food and giving it to a homeless person nearby. I walked back to my hotel hungry and disappointed.
This place clearly lacks basic hospitality standards. I won’t be returning — and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values their time, comfort, or a warm meal.
