  My husband and I had such a great time at Aztec Dave’s Cantina in Humboldt Park! From the moment we sat down, our server was absolutely amazing. Even though a spicy mango margarita wasn’t officially on the menu, they went out of their way to make one for me—and it was DELICIOUS! The mango flavor was bold and intense, and the spicy jalapeño-infused rum balanced the sweet and tangy mango perfectly. It was easily one of the best margaritas I’ve had. We both ordered the taco dinner. He chose the chicken tacos, and I went with al pastor, chicken mole, and birria—with a side of fried jalapeños (because why not?). I devoured the al pastor and chicken mole, and although I was too full to finish the birria, it made for an amazing take-home treat. The rice and beans were flavorful and the perfect complement to the meal. Great service, delicious food, and an unforgettable margarita—we’ll definitely be back!

  Had a great experience ordering delivery from Aztec Dave's Cantina. We were out at Burning Bush Brewery on Rockwell and placed a delivery order. The original delivery time passed so we called the restaurant and Dave himself answered the phone. He said our order was ready for pick-up and when realizing the delivery driver was delayed he committed to driving the order up to us himself! The food was still hot when it arrived and very tasty. The Birria consumé was super tasty as well as the Asada burrito. Will absolutely order from here again!

  It’s a great neighborhood bar, the food is very good and service is good. Takes a little bit longer for waiter to come back around but everyone working there was very friendly and nice.

  Amazing happy hour and great tacos. Dave’s is a gem, and my recent first trip won’t be my last. Happy Hour is 2-5p and is time well spent.

  This place is so welcoming shoutout to Denise our waiter ! She found my purse and returned it in one piece. Everyone vibed with everyone felt like we were all friends. Food and portions were amazing , prices were even better ! No regrets !!
