We ordered 3 different dishes and had 2 days of extra, the amounts were so generous. The Ethiopian beer was delicious, prices reasonable, cleanliness perfect, and Chef came over to chat. Really great lentil and beef dishes with spongey Injera bread. We didn’t leave feeling overfull and sleepy like with Italian or Chinese cuisine. Loved not using utensils and dipping and scoping with the perfect fluffy bread to savor every bite.

This is some of the best Ethiopian food I've had. They're the best in the city for gluten-free options since their inejera is 100% teff (a lot of places mix in flour), and their Too Good To Go boxes are one of the best kept secrets of Edgewater.

Delicious, fresh-tasting food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere. We were a large group using their private room, and the staff made sure we were well taken care of throughout the entire experience. We can’t wait to go back. ❤️

As an Ethiopian-Eritrean American, I will not be returning nor recommending this place to anyone. I attended an event here, that I also was part of the team running it. I had to hunt the waitresses to order food and when doing so, they were not very helpful. When ordering a drink at the bar, I asked for a non alcoholic beverage and I was refused, until someone else confronted them. Now when I received the food, they had the injera on the side, when it's always directly on the plate with the various dishes on top, not just piled on the plates. If you are looking for our traditional food, I suggest going to any of the following restaurants; Ethiopian Diamond, Tesfa, Denden, or Awash. Do not go Axum!!
