To get it out of the way, you’re coming here for the vibe. Finally made a visit here on a weekday to celebrate a birthday. Making a reservation a day before for lunchtime was pretty easy, likely a lot harder for weekends. Service was professional but warm. Food was pretty good with some quirks. - lobster roll: cooked well, nice buttery brioche. First lobster roll where the meat was only on top and not inside? Felt a little misleading with how little there was to begin with 😅 - burger: two patty smash burger. Added the Black Forest bacon as well. Favorite part was the finely minced onion. - truffle fries: for $20, you’re getting some specks of black truffle. But it’s really the texture of the fries that was good. Very light/airy crunch. Although we passed on dessert, they still brought a warm cookie with a candle. Much appreciated! Street parking is about $5/hr. Valet parking is $20.

"Good service over good food." I've said this before and I'll say it over and over again. I had high hopes for this cafe. I wanted to save the best for last. And my last breakfast in Chicago just ruined my overall experience in Chicago as a whole. I came across the rudest receptionist so far. If you are the receptionist, you are the face of the establishment with pleasing personality. You represent the brand and set the tone for first impressions and yet you muster the energy to instigate a callous rebuttal so you can point out a customer is in the wrong. As front of the house, the finesse was absent. I specifically made the reservation on opening time, so I was advised to sit and wait at the lounge area directly facing 3 Arts, you would think it is part of the restaurant. No, it's not. Apparently, according to this rude receptionist, the building is a public area. Anyone can just come and go, so you would not be entertained as a customer so ignoring me sitting and waiting was her playground while entertaining the just-incoming white guests, worshipping them like a rabid dog, and ushering gladly to their tables at the strike of 10:00AM, opening time, even announcing another white guest also sitting comfortably at the lounge area that their table was ready. The moment I noticed the favouritism, I stood up because she was already setting her eyes on the incoming white couple, and I said, "Finally! You have been ignoring me." She said, "Honey, this is a public place. You should register with me first to make yourself known" whilst tapping on the computer/monitor with that condescending tone. I knew she was going to take me to the streets with that attitude so I simply walked to my table. I was hoping to spend a longer time but after the mini lobster rolls with caviar, I've had enough. Seeing that receptionist pass by my table carefree and unapologetic is giving me enough reason to just leave. My honest review on the rolls; they were dry. What happened to the cream? Some of the bread were burnt. And where are the napkins? The restaurant felt pretentious overall. The bribery (i.e. complimenting the food) was never going to change my review or how I was extremely disappointed and I was explicitly clear in paying what I ordered. Funny they must think I was there for the freebies. I prefer stating facts not fabricated exaggerations. Check my other reviews if you must. The team said they have done their best to rectify but not a single brain cell knew the most obvious answer - apologise. And oh, the receptionist wasn't finished yet. As I was leaving, she made sure to say, "Have a nice day!" Thankfully, a cafe with better service and charisma was actually just waiting in the corner called 3rd Coast Cafe. Literally one step away. Check that out. The art there has more soul.

3 Arts Club Cafe at RH Chicago was an incredible experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding, the food was on another level, and the entire place gives off a sense of luxury and quality that you immediately notice and enjoy. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, with stunning decor, elegant details, and different spaces that each have their own charm. Everything feels stylish, sophisticated, and carefully designed, which makes the experience even more special. It is the kind of place where you do not just go to eat, but to truly enjoy the ambiance as well. I had the ribeye sandwich, and it was amazing. The flavors were excellent, the quality was obvious, and the drinks were just as good. Everything felt well prepared and thoughtfully presented. This is definitely a place I would recommend 100%. Between the exceptional service, the delicious food, the excellent drinks, and the gorgeous setting, 3 Arts Club Cafe is a spot that really stands out and leaves a lasting impression.

There was a bit of a wait on the weekend even with reservations, I couldn't wait to sit down! My friends and I enjoyed the food and atmosphere downstairs, it was enjoyable! I was told the restaurant has a rooftop view which I looked forward to but it was not as expected; it was quiet boring. I think from then until now they have maybe changed the look. I would recommend the downstairs dining experience. In the summer it felt like an enjoyable Europran outdoor breakfast experience with low conversations on the side for Brunch!

Dining at 3 Arts Club Cafe feels less like a typical restaurant visit and more like a whole experience — imagine brunching or having dinner inside a beautiful historic building with soaring glass ceilings, a central fountain, lush greenery, and chandeliers that make every table feel special. It’s honestly one of the most visually stunning places to eat in the city, perfect for celebrations, date nights, or just soaking up a memorable atmosphere. The menu leans into elevated American fare with a focus on fresh, thoughtful dishes that hit the mark without feeling pretentious. Favorites here include the lobster roll, the well-executed RH Burger, and vibrant salads like grilled shrimp or kale Caesar — plus plenty of shareable starters like burrata with prosciutto. The quality is solid and consistent, and the dishes are as tasty as they are photogenic. Drinks are worth mentioning too: there’s a nice selection of wines (including some standout options from the café’s own wine vault), spritz cocktails, and drinks that pair beautifully with the light, airy setting. Service generally feels polished and attentive, even when the café is bustling — which it often is, especially on weekend brunch or dinners. Weekday lunches or early dinners tend to be calmer if you want a slightly quieter vibe. The space itself — part café, part wine bar, part social destination — really sets it apart. The airy courtyard with olive trees and natural light makes you want to linger long after your last bite, and you can even explore the store and rooftop garden before or after your meal, which adds a fun twist to the visit. Overall, 3 Arts Club Café is one of those Chicago dining experiences that feels special without being unapproachable — a great pick if you’re looking for great food, a beautiful setting, and a memorable meal for brunch or dinner.
