  The lunch staff is great, never had a problem. The later shift staff is awful. Food is late if it even makes it to the shelf without me asking them to make it (15 min after pick-up time) AND they always mess up the bowl even though I watch them stare at the instructions. Dressing is never on the side, just slopped on top. 3 times going after work and they’ve messed up the bowl each time. Smh

  I visited CAVA in Chicago and had a really fresh and satisfying fast-casual meal. The restaurant felt modern, clean, and efficient, with a build-your-own bowl setup that made it easy to customize everything. I ordered a grain bowl with proteins, vegetables, and sauces, and it came out flavorful, balanced, and filling without feeling heavy. The ingredients tasted fresh and well prepared, with plenty of variety to mix and match. Service was quick and friendly throughout. It’s a great Chicago spot for healthy Mediterranean-style bowls and quick, customizable meals

  I’ve now had two really disappointing experiences with CAVA, one with catering and one with online ordering. And unfortunately, both point to deeper issues with reliability and communication. For catering, we placed a large, time-sensitive order for our church team during a long rehearsal day. The order was scheduled for delivery between 3:30–3:45pm. At 3:34pm, after the delivery window had already begun we received a call not from CAVA, but from a third-party delivery driver saying the order couldn’t be fulfilled due to a “utility issue.” We never received any direct communication from CAVA at all. To make matters worse, the order was marked as “delivered” in error, which caused confusion and delayed us from making alternate plans. This left our entire team without food in the middle of a very long day. Hoping that was a one-off issue, I gave them another chance with a standard online order. Unfortunately, it wasn’t much better. The order took over two hours to arrive, one of the main ingredients was missing due to being out of stock, and both bowls arrived without dressings. I understand that things go wrong, but the consistent lack of communication, inaccurate order updates, and missing items across multiple experiences is really concerning. At this point, it’s hard to trust CAVA for anything time-sensitive, whether it’s catering or a simple delivery order. I’d strongly encourage the team to improve communication protocols and quality control especially when orders can’t be fulfilled as expected.

  It’s been a blessing to have Cava added to the Chicago area. I regularly frequent the location at the Sears Tower. This place is so fast and efficient- especially during the lunch time rush! They are so kind and never let the hectic time get to them! The best part is the food. I always walk away satisfied and full! Have always loved cava from afar, and now it’s closer to home!

  My server was princess , she was overall very helpful and friendly and accommodating. It was my first time here as a vegetarian so she was really patient with me despite the long rush hour , I asked for her name just to leave her a review because her customer service and help was the best!
