  It was my first time at Baba Pita had a great meal. I ordered a lunch special of the Chicken Shawarma. Very moist and a large portion. It was well seasoned but not spicy or salty (thank you) it came with a soup, salad, hummus, falafel. I also had a mint lemonade and baklava. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend. Many vegetarian options as well.

  We happened upon this little gem while visiting Chicago…what a treat! Food was fantastic and the conversation with the owner was so nice. Parking to got in front (meter pay) was an added bonus! Whether you do dine in, grab and go or want to have it delivered, I would highly recommend!

  There I was after a grueling workout, looking for a healthy but satisfying meal in the neighborhood when Baba Pita came into view. There is something for everyone at this little unassuming place. I ate in and was served delicious lentil soup with pita which was a nice palette cleanser. But the shrimp and salmon kebab combo with salad & veggies stole the show. Seasoned perfectly and truly just a delightful meal. I left so satisfied and will definitely be coming back to try out more of the venue. Don’t skip this place. It may look unassuming from the outside, but it won’t disappoint.

  Unassuming (not a negative) exterior and interior but the food was delicious. Ordered the lunch special with beef koobideh, made to order and fresh ingredients worth the wait for preparation. Meal included a tasty lentil soup. We also ordered a roasted feta cheese and a chicken koobideh wrap.

  After walking by it so many times during COVID and after this was the first time I tried it and it was great. Juicy kefta, succculent chicken kabob, perfectly crisp and warm pita, tea that goes straight into your heart. And the best thing, when we went there was no loud annoying music. The only sounds we listened to were each others voice or the clink clank of cutlery on plates.
