  Lowkey recommending this spot. The taste and quality are super consistent, no misses so far. The guy at the front is actually really friendly and professional, makes the whole experience smooth. And fr, the lamb zurbiyan is a must-try — it’s packed with flavor and just hits every time.

  We ordered two lamb haneeth mandi, and the quantity wasn’t even sufficient for one person. This is extremely poor service from such a well-known restaurant. I would never come back here.

  If you want authentic middle eastern cuisine, you really really have to avoid this place. They’re basically just selling Indian in the name of middle eastern. Worst experience when it comes to taste. The staff was nice and friendly, though.

  The bacon and scallops were absolutely die for they source all the Abby Halal pork from the Middle East and ship it over here where it is blessed by a monk and a shaman who carried it down from the mountains and then it took a flight over here so that the ultimate freshness of the pork is Kept fresh and all the scallops and delicious seafood that is so delicious. They put it all into one big burrito and a big bowl of Puerto Rican rice the food was so delicious on Tinder. I thought I had been magically transported back to China.

  Here's the updated version: The food must be good considering the rating, I can only judge by what I ordered - beef shawarma sandwich. It was just ok - for 3 stars. The flavor was severely lacking in the beef itself and whatever they put in the sandwich didn't add much flavor or taste. It was too salty and I usually eat more salt than average. The grease soaked through the layers of wrapping paper - just to tell you how much grease there was. They also serve garlic sauce on the side - apparently they forgot to put garlic in it. But the main complaint is the atmosphere. Everything was so filthy that I changed my eat-in order to to-go. You can see on the picture all the mess there. I stopped by around lunch time and there was just one more guy eating. The restaurant looked like after a frat party. Chairs are all over, not a single clean table, crumbs of food on every one of them. They have heavy plastic over tables and then disposable plastic cloth that was not disposed for a while and soaked in all the dirt, crumbs on each single table. The windows haven't been washed since 1855. Makes you wonder, if the dining hall is so dirty, what's going on in the kitchen? I hope this review will be a wake up call to the owner. Looks like he checks and replies to reviews regularly. I do hope they improve. I've tried mandi in LA a few months ago and looking for a place to try it again. This was one of the candidates but I wouldn't bring my friends to this place in its current state, I'd be embarrassed. Please reply to the review only if you take corrective steps. I'll stop by to check things out!
