Nobody talked to me in the drive through. First window employee didn't say anything when I pulled up, just awkwardly looked at me like something was wrong. Didn't offer a receipt. I confirmed with the second window employee if my drink (which was clearly a different color than a Diet Coke) was in fact a Diet Coke, he (also without actually speaking to me) nods. I get home and its a (flat) Coke. Their website says to call or return to the store if there is a problem, I call and someone picks up but doesnt actually speak. I am getting tired of this McDonald's, I get it that customer service jobs are difficult but if even at the corporate level the response when something is wrong is "sorry about it, better luck next time" that doesn't convince me that this now-overpriced restaurant is worth going to again. If your company can't hire people who have basic communication skills, and can't refund a $2 drink mistake without a massive bureaucratic process/returning to the store, I don't think they deserve my business anymore.

Stopped in about 5am for a mcgriddles meal. Hash browns were perfectly hot, crisp/tender, service was super quick, they brought it out to me. It's mc Donald's and the perfectly engineered food was perfectly executed!

I had a very disappointing experience at the McDonald’s location on South Neil on March 4, 2026, regarding a mobile order pickup and the treatment I received from staff. When I arrived to pick up my mobile order, the McDonald’s app malfunctioned and would not allow me to enter a curbside pickup number. The app then instructed me to either go inside the restaurant or proceed through the drive-thru. I first attempted to pick up my order through the drive-thru, but the employee working there told me I needed to come inside instead. After parking and entering the restaurant, I approached the front counter where an older female employee was working and asked who I needed to speak with regarding my order. She walked to the back and spoke to someone, then returned and told me that my order was not ready yet. However, she never asked me for my order number or any identifying information about the order, so it was unclear how she could determine that my order was not ready. I then stepped aside and waited, expecting someone to ask for my order number or assist me further. Unfortunately, no one acknowledged me. After waiting for some time, I again asked for assistance. At that point, a black female employee wearing a grey shirt and a black head wrap came to the front, looked up my order, and told me in a very rude manner that the order had been thrown away because it had been over an hour. I explained that I had already been at the restaurant for nearly 30 minutes attempting to retrieve the order due to the issues with the app and the instructions I had been given. Instead of addressing the situation professionally, the employee argued that orders are discarded after an hour. I then asked why the mobile app states that orders are not prepared until the customer indicates they are on the way to the restaurant. The employee responded with a dismissive and irritated attitude, stating that she could not control the computer system. Because of the tone and lack of professionalism displayed during the interaction, I asked for the corporate contact number. Only at that point did the employee offer to remake the food. However, by then I had already spent a significant amount of time attempting to resolve the issue, and I no longer felt comfortable having my food prepared after the interaction that had taken place. I declined the offer and simply requested the contact information. The employee printed a receipt with the number, and as I was leaving she made a sarcastic remark toward me from behind the counter. I later contacted corporate to report the incident and express my concerns regarding the lack of communication, professionalism, and customer service displayed by the staff. Unfortunately, the response I received was dismissive and did not appear to meaningfully address the situation. (Attached email) This experience was extremely disappointing and reflects poorly on the level of service and professionalism customers should be able to expect. I hope that improvements can be made in communication, customer service, and handling of mobile orders.

Had a encounter with the driver thru person, couldn't order through drive thru so I went in and explained the situation to the manager, explained how the drive thru worker refused to take my order, she quickly made things right, apologized over and over and honestly she made the experience horrible to okay. People like her deserve to be recognized for their hard work and great customer service, I will be back just because I know she's the manager

I was at the drive through when James (who refused to give me his name) originally started taking my order. When I tried to order, he cut me off 3 different times and then one the 4th time he just started stating he couldn’t understand me and that I needed to get closer to the microphone which I told him was not possible because I was as close as I could get. He then starts to get irritated and refuse to take my order until he could understand me better, at this point I drive to the window so he could hear me more clearly to which he refuses to take my order and tells me to come inside because it’s not his problem. He refuses to open the window again so I knock to ask him what I could have possibly done to make him this upset and he threatened to call the police on me. I am several months pregnant and was just trying to order 1 simple happy meal for my daughter. He made that impossible. He clearly has no customer service skills and I’m I only found his name out by the other complaints of him and his service in the drive through. Never had this type of service at this location until he was started working here. James is a the definition of a weak man.
