The kiosks don't work. And when you pay on the app and show them your phone they'll still tell you they don't see the order and refuse to provide food or issue a refund.

Placed a mobile order for drive-thru. They tell me it’s for inside pickup and tell me to come inside. I tell them it’s for drive thru and ask them to just give me the order anyway, yet they insist. I come inside and show them I indeed placed it for drive-thru (keep in mind it’s pouring rain). They instruct me on how to CHANGE the order from drive thru to inside pickup in the app so I can get my food. I did not want to pickup inside…. I had placed it for drive thru for a reason. Anyway, it took another 10 minutes to get the food, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was on purpose to keep the drive times low…

Placed an order through the mobile app. Waited for a good 20 min and went to check on the order. Was told the app was down and although the $ was charged, they could not issue a refund or provide the order. Insinuated that there was no way they could tell if i cheated later by obtaining a refund, and therefore could not provide me with the food I already paid for. Asked me to call mcdonalds or the bank to get the $ back. Very unprofessional.
