  this location actually sucks. i ordered something to be ready at 7 way ahead of time and it was over an hour!! that i had to wait to get my food. and while we were waiting, there was a huge bug walking around the food which made me want my order less. on top of that, their health permit expired 2 days ago!

  Order was supposed to be ready at 10:20 PM on 4/25/26, but it wasn’t. Service was extremely poor—no greeting, no communication, and I had to ask multiple times about my order. Counters near the pickup area were visibly dirty, which is a major sanitation concern. My order was sitting unbagged on the counter until I pointed it out. Overall, very disappointing experience. This location needs better management and improved cleanliness standards.

  I love chipotle but last night was ridiculous ! Nothing fresh ! Nothing stocked ! Staff HORRIBLE ! With a line that was heading OUT THE DOOR ! So disappointed with how the restaurant was ran last night. Not a manager in sight…There was a young man on the line by himself doing his best and I felt so bad.. I hope to never have to deal with that much unprofessionalism in that restaurant. Get it together Chipotle on prospect !!!

  We went on what was apparently BOGO night, at a late hour, so I’m trying to give grace, but, service was crazy slow, portions were stingy, they were out of several items (beans, the new lime sauce, etc) and the rice was plain white rice- not the cilantro & lime rice it’s supposed to be. They rang us up before I could even ask for chips and I just didn’t bother.

  This is my first ever google review, and by no means am I exaggerating by saying this is the worst Chipotle I have been to in my life, matter of fact, worst restaurant I’ve been in my life. It checks for worst chipotle by every metric. Once we got to the chipotle, the restaurant was messy, there was a line of maybe 7 people with only one person serving food, while the other workers just walked around doing nothing. We ended up waiting 20-30 minutes in line for food that had no flavor whatsoever. You are better off making chicken at home with just salt. All I could taste from my burrito was the tortilla and that is an understatement. The workers also looked like the place was hell, but I get it, sometimes you can have bad work days or long days. You are better off driving a bit further to UIUC Campustown and getting Chipotle there or just wait for the new one opening. Avoid at all costs.
