I've gone to Jewel for years and years but only recently lived near this one. Every now and then, I need to get a rain check or in my recent experience wanting to return some apples. Because I had trouble finding my receipt, I was returning them 2 weeks (16 days) after purchase. They had absolutely no taste. Apples are supposed to last for 4 to 6 weeks in the refrigerator. Mind you, these apples were only a dollar on sale, but I was upset they were so bad. She made a big deal over the date and said she wouldn't refund the money. Okay, but seriously they always seem to give you a hard time even over a rain check. There are many other grocery options and I guess I'll be choosing to go to them!!
