  The shawarma was flavorful and well seasoned, and the falafel really stood out crispy on the outside while remaining light and fluffy on the inside. Overall, it was a very satisfying meal and a great dining experience.

  I grew up in Dubai, UAE and recently moved to the U.S. I always had a craving for shawarma, but all the shawarma I tried here never tasted the way it did back home. I gave up and believed it was not possible to find authentic shawarma, until I came across Hommies. I ordered the Hommies Classic Combo, which came with a shawarma wrap, fries, coleslaw, sauces, and a cold drink. From the first bite, I knew this was different. The wrap was lightly toasted and perfectly crispy on the outside — that ideal crunch while still being soft. The meat inside was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. And the garlic sauce? Exactly how it should be. Bold, creamy, and necessary. It tied everything together perfectly. Every bite was genuinely enjoyable. I couldn’t stop eating it — and honestly, I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. More than anything, it reminded me of authentic shawarma back home. It brought back childhood memories and that nostalgic flavor I thought I wouldn’t find again. This was a perfectly crafted shawarma. There is no competition. If you’re searching for authentic shawarma this is the only place to go.
