  The worst, 1- to expansive for the portion of food 2- you don’t tell the customer on the register to put a good review. That’s rude, people They usually put the review after they finish the experience based off of everything.

  Decided to try a new place instead of the usual famous chicago shawerma, and man was i glad i did so. The zinger was out of this world with the flavor and juiciness. The shawerma isnt your usual authentic shawerma as it has cheese and a sauce different than the usual thoom, but it is also very very delicious and no complaints at all!!! Definitely nice that they put their own touch and unique sauces on each of the two sandwiches. The customer service was also great as Laith was very pleasant and patient with us as we tried to figure out what to order for our 5 hour drive back home. I would definitely without a doubt come back as this place is way too underrated... thank you to the Hommies team for making our stop phenomenal!

  Recently moved to Chicago and have tried almost each shawerma spot, just picked up a chicken shawerma from this place and it’s now the only place I’d go too, everything is so fresh, fries are crispy and seasoned well and the sauce on the shawerma is amazing! So glad I gave this place a try

  Hommies Shawarma is an absolutely wonderful restaurant! I recently hosted an event that needed catering, and they went above and beyond in every way. From start to finish, their communication was excellent, and they treated us with such respect and care. As soon as I set out the shawarma for my event, it ran out the food only lasted seconds before everyone rushed to grab a plate! I also had the privilege of trying it myself, and the shawarma tastes so rich and flavorful. The shawarma and fries are beyond amazing even if you don’t eat them right away, just pop them in the microwave and they taste freshly made all over again! I also love that each meal comes with a complimentary soda such a thoughtful touch. More than just delicious food, you’re getting outstanding service. The owner is a genuinely kind man with a professional attitude that truly sets him apart in the food business. I can’t wait to return to Hommies Shawarma, confident that I’ll always receive incredible food and even better service!
