We tried the new Lazy Dog Restaurant in Buffalo Grove last night with a group of six. It appears that they are doing a booming business as there was a line to the door just to check in for our reservation. There's a lovely outdoor area, enclosed for the winter, with a fire pit. That is the area that you are allowed to bring your dogs. The inside is a rustic decor.
We enjoyed appetizers including cheese curds and hot honey feta dip. We would take a pass on the French Onion bites next time.
The menu is vast and includes everything from salads and hot and cold sandwiches to Asian themed dishes and more. I thoroughly enjoyed my spicy tuna over crispy rice which can be found in the larger shareables portion of the menu. Others in our party enjoyed the southern fried Chicken Salad, the bison meatloaf and the Cowboy Burger.
Definitely make a reservation if you can. We will return in the near future.

Came in on a super busy Friday night. Me and my wife first time here, drove in from Schaumburg on a whim for a spontaneous date night. Got seats at the bar. First off the drinks were fantastic, each had 2 signature cocktails, the taste was incredible. We felt adventurous and asked the bartenders to suggest an appetizer as sadly the hush puppies aren’t offered at this time, he said ceviche, we don’t do ceviche but oh well, it was flippen fantastic! Our food came out quickly just cannot rave enough about this place. Bartenders rob and Scott! They are the GOATS

We dined at Lazy dog for this first time yesterday. Our server, Erin, was phenomenal. She provided a level of service we have not experienced in quite awhile!! We were so impressed. We let her know it was our first time there, and she was very thorough explaining the menu, offering suggestions, explaining their scratch made kitchen and sauces, and had the best upbeat attitude! We tried the hot honey feta dip, candied bacon, grilled cheese and tomato soup lunch special, and soup with wedge salad special. I tried the cucumber lemon refresher too. Everything was delicious. The manager even surprised us with donut holes and nutella dipping sauce when Erin let her know we were first timers! What a sweet touch! We are already looking forward to our next dining experience at Lazy Dog and trying new menu items! I will even request to sit in Erin's section again (she was THAT great!).

Don’t waste your money here. Food is lazy and not worth the price. Ordered a refresher and sent it back after two sips because there was so much syrup it felt like I was drinking jam yet was still charged for it when I asked for water instead. The Tex Mex salad was supposed to have corn and beans but there was no corn and maybe 5 black beans. Chicken had zero seasoning and tasted like it was heated up from frozen. The avocado in the salad was brown and hard. Who serves bad avocado on a 17$ salad? The burger was soggy and over cooked. We ended up not eating 80% of our meal and our server couldn’t be found half the 50 minutes we spent there. When we asked for the check and said we didn’t need boxes for our uneaten meals no questions were asked just set down the payment method. Paid almost 80$. Horrible restaurant will not be going back.

We stopped in to have a late lunch last week at Your location in Buffalo Grove. Not only was our food great but, our server was Outstanding. His name was “Ari” . He greeted us with a friendly smile asked if we needed to explain the menu. Even thou it was busy Ari was so attentive and made our experience very pleasant.
Thank You Ari for making our day with your outstanding personality and making 2 Seniors feel welcome. We’ll be back !!
