  Food was good, service was friendly, and the place had a nice, easygoing vibe. Everything came out quickly and hit the spot. Would definitely recommend it

  I went last night to this Portillos to order a Italian Beef & Sausage Combo and drove all the way back to Wisconsin.... Only to open up the Italian beef and see the disappointment and robbery on the Italian beef meat they put in tht literally only amounted to 1/4 of the bottom end of the Italian Beef and the sausage was undercooked.... I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GOING TO THIS PLACE BETTER YOU GO ELSWHERE THAN SPEND MONEY ON A PLACE THT IS NOT GOING EVEN GIVE WHAT YOU SPENT YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY PAYING FOR!!😔VERY DISAPPOINTED.😞

  My experience at Portillo’s was honestly pretty disappointing. This has happened to me twice now at this location, which is why I’m writing this. I ordered a cheeseburger and was very clear multiple times that I didn’t want ketchup. I confirmed it while ordering, again at pickup, and the cashier even repeated “no ketchup” back to me. I trusted it, took the food home, and opened it to find ketchup on the burger. I had to drive all the way back, which was frustrating. They did refund me and remake the burger, which I appreciate, but even then the remake was missing peppers that were on the original order and listed on the receipt.

  This Portillo's gets crowded and the young staff cannot handle busy service. Once I was told that my food was still in process as customers who ordered after me got their food. It turned out that my food was at the drive-thru area. I didn't get an apology or anything. The food is great, however, so I go there often.

  Won't be back. Let me know when you fix things. --Disappointed.... Went to drive-thru. Order a cheeseburger no bun. I got two little pieces of wilted lettuce one on top and one on the bottom. No fork. No knife. Not only that.... I ordered a beef sandwich to be very very wet. I received what they call dipped. They hardly wrapped. Not tight, just loose, sprinkled the beef on top. Not what I would call a beef sandwich, Just damp bread with a little sprinkle of beef. Bag was very wet.. lol... I luckily had put it in a bag I had to be able to travel in the car so my car seat didn't get wrecked. They did not put the sandwich in a plastic bag as usual. The Bolingbrook location has gone way downhill. I won't be back. It was very disappointing. What happened? This used to be a good location. I wasted my money.
