  We went through the drive through today and although the service was “fast” the food left us sick and unimpressed. The fries were cold (like ice cold) and the chicken we couldn’t even chew (think of a dog trying to rip a treat out of your hands- like rubber). We ended up throwing it all away (almost $30 worth of food) after three bites then 12 hours later I’m now vomiting. Wouldn’t recommend.

  Oberweis is first and foremost delicious. It is run by truly the most generous owner and management. They sponsor our Special Olympics team each year when we come down for our State competition. The athletes look forward to the visit. It is obvious the owner and management really care about their community! I would highly recommend this location!!

  My visit to Oberweis was, in every sense, a celebration of indulgence. I began with a scoop of their peanut butter cookie dough ice cream — a silken base of sweet cream, punctuated by ribbons of nutty richness and generous chunks of dough that lent both texture and nostalgia. It was decadent yet balanced, the sort of flavor that lingers on the palate and in memory. While savoring this frozen delight, my experience took an unexpected turn. The adjoining That Burger Joint called to me, and I found myself with a double cheeseburger in hand. Stacked high and lavishly dressed with their special sauce — a tangy, complex condiment of real finesse — the burger proved far more than a casual accompaniment to dessert. The patties were juicy, the cheese melting luxuriously over every bite, a savory counterpoint to the sweetness of the ice cream. What elevated both experiences beyond the plate was the service. A waiter of uncommon grace checked in on me with warmth and attentiveness, inquiring whether my meal satisfied and even offering fries. Later, overhearing my quiet wish for a cone instead of a cup, they surprised me with a crisp, golden cone, offered freely and with a smile. Such gestures, small yet deeply human, made the visit feel less like a transaction and more like a shared moment of hospitality. It was, in sum, a magical experience: Oberweis providing the sweet overture, That Burger Joint delivering a savory crescendo, and the staff weaving it all together into an evening of connection and delight.

  Ice cream is pretty great. The prices are crazy high. There's better bang for your buck elsewhere for similar quality
