This review is NOT a reflection of the staff as they are always polite and courteous. The problem with Panera is that they sold out and now are taking short cut after short cut to grow their profits. I have heard that they no longer bake the bread and transport, it is now frozen. You can really tell in the quality of the bakery products. I have gotten countless bagels with huge holes in them. The sourdough is low quality white flour with little taste. I have not liked their soup and sandwiches for some years now. The French onion soup is no where near the same. I also believe the manager at this particular location does not inventory well as they are always sold out of items before the end of the day. But, hey, I don’t want to blame them as that could be an issue coming from top down for all I know. Sad that STL lost this gem. I wish I could find a local place that makes good bread.

I think computer order should have acknowledged what is not available. Besides that I like clean restaurants this was anything but clean!!
