I had To put a bunch of stuff back in my order tonight because I couldn’t afford it and he was so kind and said “ im so sorry you couldn’t get everything you wanted tonight” and that little sweet comment just meant the world to me. Also a shout out to Miranda who’s a manager at the front. I had an issue with the bakery and she fixed it so quickly and so efficiently that it was barely even an issue. Great staff at this location! I purchased the exact same product at the Walmart Super Center in nearby Lake Zurich on the same day for $2.66. I was stunned by the price difference. I've noticed similarly high prices at this Jewel for other staple grocery products. I am a full time Barrington resident and now rarely shop at this Jewel due to the high prices.
