I don't understand why the store opens at 6am but yet meat department doesn't open until 9am. Then even at 9:00 a.m. they burgers and chicken not put out. Don't make any sense definitely will not return there until later in day when it's busy. Thank you very much Jewel,

My reviews all depend on which one I was in at this time because most of them have very ignorant employees that make you very uncomfortable while you are there shopping. I don't recommend you shop for a long time because they will start following you watching you to see if you are stealing from the store etc. It's horrible that they have to do this to people but come on people.

Released just the other day that a special needs female employee at the Bensenville Jewel was almost kidnapped from the parking lot while outside retrieving baskets. I've seen the same thing happen at this Jewel. Females should not be sent outside to get baskets by themselves, especially at night. I witnessed one young lady who got sent outside while male employees were left inside the store. The supervisor wouldn't let her go home-even though her shift was over- since she was the only one who showed up and they had no baggers, yet the supervisor didn't use her for bagging groceries. Instead she was sent outside, at night, to get carts. This shouldn't be happening. At any grocery store. Especially nowadays while we have human trafficking going on. I advise you stop this practice and over hire as many young men as you can to get your carts. Paying more for labor is far cheaper than a lawsuit because someone's daughter has disappeared outside while on your clock.
