I am disappointed that they have changed the taste and quality of everything. Chips, queso, guacamole, steak meat, the refried beans. The change is not in a good way. This was my favorite place to go, not now. I so sad.

It’s been a while since our last visit. We had the chicken fajitas and the chicken enchiladas, but both were underwhelming as the chicken lacked any real seasoning or flavor.
To make matters worse, they’ve changed their chips from the original recipe, and they just aren't as good anymore. For two people with frozen margaritas, the bill came to $80. Given the lack of taste and the higher price point, it simply wasn't worth it for good Mexican food.

We went from having some of the best chips and salsa to one of the most disappointing experiences. The food was completely tasteless and honestly felt like it had just been reheated in a microwave. Even the rice was different, tomatoes in it, which was never the case before. Our server mentioned the food is now “higher quality,” but everything tasted cheaper than ever. To make matters worse, our bill was higher than usual, even though we ordered the exact same items we always do. My fiancé and I have been coming here for years, but after this visit, we have no desire to return. It’s really disappointing to see how much things have changed. Please bring back the original On the Border.

On the border is no longer the same… new owners, new menus and horrible changes. The chips were my favorite but now are paper thin and aren’t fully cooked with a bad aftertaste. Food tasted like it came straight out of the microwave. Stale and dry. Sadly I will not be coming back till the original owner comes back!

I was disappointed with my recent order. The menu appears to have been changed without any notice, and when I ordered the steak fajitas, they only came with sautéed onions and two slices of jalapeños. This presentation did not align with what I would typically expect from fajitas.
Additionally, I was not informed that the rice included tomatoes, which would have been helpful to know in advance. Overall, these unexpected changes made the experience confusing and less enjoyable.
