- RCRestaurant CriticDec 5, 20251.0I came to pick up an online order. When I told the employee I was there for my pickup, he insisted I was at the wrong location, even after I confirmed the address as 17 S Randall Rd. After stepping outside to double-check, I confirmed I was at the correct location. When I went back in, he then told me he didn’t have my order because “someone already picked it up.” I asked if he gave the order to someone without verifying the name, and he admitted that he did. He claimed the person “knew my name,” which didn’t make sense. He then argued with me for about 15 minutes because he didn’t want to issue a refund, even though he had just admitted to handing my order to the wrong person. He eventually agreed to remake my order, but then said he would “call the police” to report my order stolen. The whole interaction felt very suspicious. First, he didn’t even seem to know the address of the store where he works. Second, he claimed the other person said my name—how would they know my name? Third, he refused a refund and immediately jumped to reporting it stolen. After all of that, he apologized several times and asked me not to say anything or call the police. The whole situation felt strange, and I hope someone looks into it. It seems like he might be telling customers their order is missing or stolen, then keeping the food for himself once they leave. This is the second time he’s been like this in 6 months…the only 2 times I’ve been here.
