But Katherine in the checkout lanes is terrible. I normally don't call out folks names cause even the most terribly mannered, unkind, and grouchy still deserves to make a living. BUT this person definitely needs more training. She definitely doesn't like working there and made me feel like I was doing her favor by shopping there. No matter the foot traffic to this Jewel has gone down and I bet its because of people like Katherine. As soon as I entered into her lane with my 4 yo boy I can tell she didn't want to service me for reasons I will not say. I thought to myself she must have a bad day so I did my best to be pleasant with her. She DID NOT return the notion. In fact she made feel belittled cause I didn't show her my loyalty card first and had to re scan everything. I do not care if it is to save a few bucks its STILL A FEW BUCKS TO ME. I am hoping someone from management reads this and takes action otherwise you will also lose another customer that has been shopping there since 2009 even though there are many other cheaper and fresher options.
