I had an egift card that she said wouldn't scan correctly based on her past experience with them, but she let me try it anyway, and it scanned correctly from my phone so i was able to place my order. My suggestion if you're using an egift card and it doesn't want to scan, is to make sure your phone is not set to dark mode you want to set it to light mode in display settings and then try the code again.
