The service was excellent!!! 🤩👏 I was very satisfied with the generous portions and great food quality. Every staff member who passed by greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly attitude. They made sure my visit was comfortable and enjoyable. 🫶
Special thanks to Elaine S. for going above and beyond and I wasn’t expecting that level of thoughtful service. It was such a pleasant surprise and really made my visit memorable.☺️👏
I highly recommend this place to my friends in the Tri-Cities and anyone visiting Post Falls, Idaho. If you want to enjoy great European food, this is definitely worth trying!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Atmosphere was great, very friendly service. Unfortunately, the food was not great. I had a simple meal of Biscuits and Gravy, along with rye toast. It was......adequate, but I expected something better than a blindfolded chef could have prepared...Given the excessively -high prices, I will not be returning anytime soon.
I stopped by this place for breakfast and this is my new favorite in Post Falls! Service was fantastic! Alyssa was awesome! I had the European breakfast. Eggs were fluffy and fresh. I live their sourdough toast. With their housemade raspberry jam it was so good! I and their housemade sweet cream in coffee and it was heavenly! They have a fantastic coffee menu! I also had some æbleskevers. The sausage and cheese ones! Man those things are amazing! I will definitely be returning to the Old European because I would love to try more things on the menu and it was just that good! Highly highly recommend!

What a wonderfully quaint restaurant with delicious food. Quality ingredients, and care make this restaurant stand out. Everything we tried was delicious. I ordered the peach dutch baby, and walked away satisfied and smiling. I had the homemade lemonade 🍋 for a drink- tart just like I like it! My boyfriend ordered the plain dutch baby (not as good as mine) and the specialty coffee. Yum! I will definitely be stopping in again to give some of the other delicious offerings a try!

My family and I have been here many times. The food is usually pretty good other than it taking longer than normal to come out of the kitchen. The service is as fake as fake can be. They are not as attentive as one I would like and the atmosphere is average.
The reason we won't be back is based on the last two visits. The first visit, I ordered the Ol' fried egg sandwich with shaved ham. When our food arrived, I received 2 eggs and 2 sausage patties with white toast. Told the lady it was the wrong order but she never took it back, never replaced it with the right order and never even considered comping my meal. Everyone has a bad day every now and then I get it.
The last time we were there, I ordered the Ol' fried egg sandwich with shaved ham (it's a good sandwich). When our food arrived, I received chicken fried steak and eggs. The manager was sent to our table and said somebody had to pay for the wrong order. I told her it would not be me. She also questioned me about the waiter asking me questions about my breakfast like I was supposed to know his job and recognize the questions. The Mgr told me they would comp the chicken fried steak meal for me but that was it and made me feel so unwelcomed. I wonder if they make the servers pay for the meals that are wrong to eliminate wasteful spending.
It really sucks because the only three places to have breakfast food in Post Falls are the Old European, the Corner Cafe which is gross 🤢, and the Falls Club which smells like smoke and take 89 years to get food out.
I hate to say it but Michael D's in CDA is the BEST breakfast spot in this area hands down. No more Old European for us!
