This place is the only chipotle in north Idaho, and if there were 100 it would still be the best!!!! Chipotle prices, but worth it.

Who ever your management team is needs to actually communicate with the team on what happens when you run out of food. No chicken and the steak looks like it turned into jerk bites. 6 people on the clock and no one is stocking line or checking prep or quality control. No delegation everyone standing around No one seems to care. Not a good start for franchise just opened a couple months. Cda chipotle closed i can see this location closing as well since you can get absolutely better service and bigger burritos from the local food trucks up the street even maverick gas station has food better then here. The valley location is 1000 percent better

After being opened a few months it can’t still be growing pains can it? I can be more understanding with poor service and lack of consistency with it just opening but it’s approaching a year and things still suck. I placed an online order with a time for pick up. I showed up and no one could be bothered to greet me/ask for a name/what I’m doing just standing there at the desk. I think ok maybe it’s not ready yet so I’ll wait. 10 mins after my pick up time I ask for an update and they pull it out from a lower shelf totally not in the pick up area. Why have online orders and a pick up shelf if the orders aren’t stocked there and are kept in a totally hidden area. So odd. And on top of that they forgot the sauce I paid extra for. Safe to say I will spend my $ elsewhere as others are also having a similar experience so it wasn’t just me.

This Chipotle went completely down hill. The last few visits they were constantly out of important things such as chicken and vegetables. The rice is over cooked and so clumpy the employee had to the smear it off the spoon. My most current visit is the last one I’ll make due to how terrible it has become. The employee scooped steak onto the burrito, decided it was too much and removed it off the burrito and placed the steak back into the container. This is a cross contamination hazard that could make someone very sick as the clumpy rice definitely stuck to the removed steak bits. This slow speaks to how cheap they are, that I couldn’t get those 2 extra pieces for a protein I’m already paying a premium price for. The queso was a light drizzle, with only 1/4 of the ladle making it onto my burritos. For an up charge I expect a decent amount and when I mentioned this to the employee they said I would have to pay double for more. I have never seen the employees skimp out so much on the servings that my burritos were half the size they used to be. Clearly the owners want to profit without actually giving anyone any food. For $30 I expect to leave with 2 fat burritos, not the saddest little taquitos.

Whoever the manager or owner of this store needs to get it under control. I have been multiple times due to it being good food and quality food in terms of late and fast options but the service has killed me. I have worked in fast food and food service multiple times and have never seen worse service than my multiple interactions here. I am not usually one to leave reviews but this one was enough for me. At dinner show up of 6:30pm on a Saturday, I showed up to see five employees working. 4 of which who needed constant direction from who I assume was the shift lead. At the time of showing up they were out of 3 of their 5 protein options which required me to wait for them to finish making the chicken (which was thrown on the grill after I was there for 15 minutes and the grill was empty). Then after the chicken was done, I had to wait for the steak to cook. So during dinner rush, when I showed up they had no food cooking and were out of 3 options. The one shift lead had to make a comment 3 times to the grill cooks to get the food going. The line at the time had over 5 other people in line behind me and 3 others waiting for them to cook steak or chicken. This is not the only time I have had an interaction like this. From a business owner to a business owner, the expectation is simple, do not keep your doors open to a certain hour if you do not expect your employees to work past that. Over multiple times, I have come into this locations 10 and 10:30pm (never 5-10 minutes before close but an hour to a half hour before close) and have been told multiple times that they do not have multiple menu options because they have already done their cleaning for the night. I’m all for employees cleaning when it makes sense but an hour before close and telling customers no does not make sense. It almost always seems that they have one employee on staff at the moment that has to run the show and run all the other employees at the same time. No structure. And it appears no proper training to the staff for employees to know when and how to service customers. I have had orders underfilled due to lack of material available, staff over stretched due to lack of training, and guest unhappy. At the time of my review they have a 2 star rating and it makes sense why. I truly believe if this store did not have good macro healthy food, it would be going under business. It sucks that we live in a world that as long as the store is producing profits, even if customers are unhappy, nothing will change. At the end of the day, I only leave the review because I wish something would change here because of how much I do enjoy the foods. But it is highly unlikely because the corporate individuals who make decisions at a chain like this will never see this review in order to make a change. Until change is made I will speak highly of chipotle food but incredibly low of their service, management, model, and structure. Sorry to be harsh, but like I said I usually do not leave reviews. I have waited to leave his until I could get food that was not towards closing hour, always assuming that my service was strictly because of the hour or the day. But today proved that it is simply this location and its poor management.
