    I am sharing this experience for transparency regarding how issues have been handled at this location. The original incident took place about a year ago through the drive-thru at this Wendy’s location. At that time, I received an order with extremely overcooked fries and an incorrect drink. I contacted the store and was advised by an employee to return later for a resolution. I was encouraged to come back at a later time specifically because it was rush hour, and it would have been difficult to return once I had already driven away. My husband was the driver during these visits, but he was not involved in handling the order details or resolving the issue, as he is not familiar with app-based promotions or how digital deals work. I handle those details in our household. When I returned with my receipt, a manager took over the interaction and repeatedly interrupted me while I attempted to explain the situation. During this time, I was experiencing a severe ulcerative colitis flare (pancolitis) and began having an urgent need to get to a restroom. Because of this, I made it clear that I no longer wanted to discuss the food issue and only needed a quick refund so I could leave. Despite this, I was dismissed and only received a partial refund. The interaction felt unnecessarily escalated and unresolved. Shortly after filing a complaint with corporate, I was later informed by an employee I had come to know and appreciate that I was banned from the location. She also apologized and explained she was not involved in the decision. In my experience at this location, I have also observed the manager treat me in a noticeably different and more dismissive manner than my husband during interactions, while being more polite toward him. I have also heard concerns from staff about his behavior toward female employees. Taken together, this contributed to my concern that the handling of my situation was not neutral or consistent. Today, my husband went to this same location to purchase a simple Jr. fry for our young daughter. He was refused service and told he could not complete the order. Our daughter cried all the way home because she did not understand why she could not have fries. This was especially upsetting given that my husband was not involved in the original incident and had always been polite in prior visits. Taken together, these experiences feel inconsistent and potentially retaliatory, especially given the lack of clear explanation for the ban and the extension of it to my husband after my complaint to corporate. It raises concerns about how complaints are handled and how service decisions are being applied at this location.
