I have visited Big Daddy's BBQ at their overland location and now at the meridian location.
Both serve excellent BBQ!
Happy hour is fantastic 2-6pm at time of this writing (4-24-26).
I had the Swine and cheese, think pulled pork grilled cheese with macaroni and cheese mixed in. Top it off with the spicy BBQ or Carolina sauce, mmm yummy.
Great for dudes, dates and families.

Ate out last night. We ordered a side of onion rings the amount served was tiny should have been more for the cost. We also had a side of deep fried pickles. They seem to been a better amount in the basket still a little small for what we paid. Next to our meals we had two burgers they were fine how ever the amount of fires that came with them was also tiny in portion. I see here cot has gone up but the size is now smaller shrink flation in the works. We also had a 1 meat tray and a 1/2 slab of ribs. The meat tray was brisket and it was dry like really dry and the ribs were cooked nice and the meat was done right the sauce was way to heavy and I like heavy sauce so for me to complain it was heavy it was really heavy. I have been eating at big daddys for many many years back when they had the location near fairview and 5 mile to the meridian location. I was a fan of Big Hoss and his food. It was a disappointment last night that the quality and portions were just not the same

My son and I came in yesterday for some barbecue. We both got the two meat platter. He got the sausage and pulled pork, I got the brisket and shredded chicken thighs.
We used to come here quite often, and it had been a while. Loved getting the prime rib most of the time..
Everything about this meal was good, except for the brisket. It was really dry and almost the size of a tri-tip. I don’t think I can effectively explain just how dry the brisket was. That’s definitely on my never try again list.
The service with exceptional, Chris was a great waiter.

The best BBQ in the treasure valley!! The pulled pork and Tri tip are the best. Also try the garlic parm fries. Their desserts are phenomenal too!
