Walked in and was greeting by a crotchety old woman. She told us the wait time, my husband and I politely said we would come back another day. The woman rudely remarked “it’s Friday night in Idaho Falls… good luck.” Lady, it’s Idaho Falls, not a large metropolitan city. Get a grip on reality.

I don’t write reviews, but this was bad. I cannot figure out how it has so many good reviews. We had a variety of dishes between our large party and they were all bad. If a friend asked me, I would tell them to avoid this place at all costs.

Great food, everything on the menu is amazing so far. I have been here 3-4 times now and everything I have eaten is delicious.

In my entire life, I have never written an online review for a restaurant. And that includes places that have given me food poisoning. But after visiting Bee's Knees, I am purely dumbfounded. The "brisket" I ordered looked, felt, and tasted like it came straight out of a can and cooked in a microwave. The texture of it was rubbery and wet.. Not moist, not juicy.. Just wet rubber. There was absolutely zero flavor to it (Even after I piled on salt and pepper). The only "flavor" I tasted was a really strange after-taste. I did not finish it and I definitely did not take the rest to go. Mac and cheese side felt like it was more grease than cheese, and my wife's Prime Rib French Dip sandwich was very dry. The service was meh. Our server looked like he was upset or annoyed at something and we rarely saw him at all. The only saving grace was that the small cup of turkey chowder soup was pretty tasty. But other than that, I have ZERO desire to return to this place and I cannot recommend this to anyone whatsoever. I genuinely have no idea how the heck Idaho Falls has rated this joint so high. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ..In my opinion, this place is most definitely not "the Bee's Knees".

We were an out-of-town group of 35 high school kids and chaperones desperately looking for a dinner spot on a Saturday night. That morning I called the restaurant on the off-chance they might have room, fully expecting a “sorry, we’re booked solid.” Instead, the part owner Heather personally called me back to let me know she will make it work for our group. Turns out they already had a wedding reception and another big private party that evening. Taking an unplanned group of 35 was a huge ask, but they happily squeezed us in without hesitation. This was also during company Christmas party season. Heathers team rearranged seating on the fly and got all 35 of us settled together quickly and comfortably. The food started coming out of the kitchen like clockwork: hot, delicious, and impressively fast for a place running three big events at once. The servers were friendly and on point, and nobody ever made us feel like the last-minute group crashing the party. They treated us like VIPs. Heather and her crew turned a potentially stressful evening into one of the best meals of our entire trip. If a restaurant can pull off phenomenal food and service while juggling a wedding, another large party, and a surprise group of 35 with a few hours’ notice, they can handle anything. We can’t thank them enough and will absolutely be back if we are ever in town. Highly, highly recommend this place! Thank you Heather and staff for a great experience.
